Models like the Lexus LM, Toyota Vellfire, MG M9, and others stand out in the Indian market, with several high-profile owners. Lexus LM 350h

The Lexus LM 350h, priced around Rs 2.15 crore (ex-showroom), is a favourite among Bollywood stars. Celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, and Hardik Pandya own one. It features a hybrid powertrain, 4- or 7-seater layouts, a partition with dimmable glass in the 4-seater, a 48-inch TV, recliners, a fridge, and 23-speaker audio. It is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder self-charging hybrid engine with a combined power output of 250 hp and 239 Nm, and it comes mated to an eCVT gearbox.

Toyota Vellfire

Priced at about Rs 1.19 crore (ex-showroom), the Toyota Vellfire appeals to celebrities seeking hybrid luxury. It shares the platform with the Lexus LM, offering spacious cabins, powered sliding doors, and an efficient 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine.

Kia Carnival

The Kia Carnival, relaunched in diesel guise at Rs 59.42 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable option on the list. It targets premium buyers with powered relaxation seats, ventilation, leg support, and many other features. The Carnival comes with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. It makes 193 hp and 441 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class starts at Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom). Launched in India after a hiatus, the MPV brings the charm of German mechanics with the luxuries of an MPV. It comes with either a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 237 hp, while the petrol version's 2.0-litre engine makes 231 hp and gets mild-hybrid assist. Both engines come mated to a 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.

MG M9

Launched at Rs 70.90 lakh, the electric MG M9 has attracted celebrities like KL Rahul, Ashneer Grover, Shankar Mahadevan, Hema Malini, and Krushna Abhishek. Differing from the lot, the MPV comes with a purely electric powertrain and uses a 90 kWh battery pack, which boasts a 548 km range, powering a 245 hp electric motor. Some features include massaging seats and a yacht-style sunroof.
