Nearly 15 months after unveiling its flagship Tesseract electric scooter, Ultraviolette has confirmed that deliveries will begin in Q1 2027, most likely by January. This marks a shift from the company's earlier timelines, which initially promised Q1 2026 deliveries before being pushed to Q2 2026. As per the brand, the decision was driven by significant technical challenges and a commitment to performance without compromise.
The original plan was to adapt the powertrain from the F77 and X-47 models. However, certain limitations and constraints forced the brand to make changes. This led to development of new architecture. While this process has extended development time, it delivers meaningful advantages.
Ultraviolette promises a top speed of 125 kmph. Videos shared by the company show the Tesseract outperforming every locally manufactured petrol and electric scooter in drag races, even with a pillion rider. It also beat multiple 150-200 cc motorcycles in separate tests.

In the final version, the floorboard is now more spacious, the seat more comfortable for both rider and pillion, and the handlebar placement has been optimised. The windscreen sits higher for better functionality, and minor body panel tweaks support these changes while retaining the Tesseract's distinctive design.
The scooter is currently in the testing and validation phase. Battery options remain unchanged at 3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh. Dual-channel ABS and traction control will be standard across all variants, and select models will feature the on-board charger first introduced on the X-47.
