TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone by recording its highest-ever monthly sales in May 2026. The company sold a total of 5,66,585 units during the month, registering an impressive 31 percent year-on-year growth compared to 4,31,275 units sold in May 2025. The strong performance highlights the growing popularity of TVS motorcycles, TVS scooters, TVS electric vehicles and TVS three-wheelers across domestic and international markets.
TVS Two-Wheeler Sales Continue To Grow
TVS Motor's two-wheeler business remained the biggest contributor to overall sales. The company sold 5,43,111 two-wheelers in May 2026, marking a 31 percent increase over 4,16,166 units sold during the same month last year.
Motorcycles continued to lead the sales chart for TVS Motor. The company sold 2,73,802 motorcycles in May 2026, up from 2,11,505 units in May 2025. Popular products from the TVS motorcycle range played a key role in driving this growth.
TVS scooter sales also witnessed strong momentum. The company sold 2,20,740 scooters in May 2026, compared to 1,66,749 units a year ago. The growing demand for TVS scooters helped the brand strengthen its presence in the highly competitive scooter segment.
TVS Electric Vehicle Sales Hit New High
TVS electric vehicle sales continued their upward trajectory in May 2026. The company reported EV sales of 43,632 units, representing a massive 56 percent growth over 27,976 units sold in May 2025.

The success of the TVS iQube and the company's expanding EV portfolio has helped TVS Motor become one of the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturers in India. Rising consumer interest in electric mobility is further boosting TVS electric vehicle sales month after month.
Strong Export Performance In Exports
TVS Motor also delivered an excellent performance in overseas markets. The company's total international business sales increased by 49 percent to 1,75,991 units in May 2026, compared to 1,18,437 units during the same period last year.
Two-wheeler exports alone grew by 48 percent, reaching 1,58,546 units. This reflects the strong demand for TVS products across global markets.

Three-Wheeler Business Registers Impressive Growth
TVS Motor's three-wheeler segment also posted healthy numbers. Sales rose by 55 percent to 23,474 units in May 2026, compared to 15,109 units in May 2025.
With record-breaking sales, strong exports, growing EV demand and consistent performance across all segments, TVS Motor has started FY2026-27 on a very positive note and appears well-positioned to maintain this momentum in the coming months.
