Triumph Motorcycles has taken the wraps off the Tiger Sports Tour 800. As the name suggests, it is a more touring-focused iteration of the Tiger Sport 800 with several pillion-friendly and luggage mounting accessories now available as standard. With the addition of these accessories, the Triumph Tiger Sports Tour 800 has gained some weight over the standard version.

The Triumph Tiger Sports Tour 800 continues to draw power from the 798cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is capable of developing a peak power and torque output of 113 hp at 10,750rpm and 84 Nm at 8,500rpm. The power mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour builds on the standard Tiger Sport 800 by adding factory-fitted touring accessories designed for comfort and practicality. Key upgrades include colour-matched panniers, a spacious 49-litre top box with a pillion backrest, a comfort seat, knuckle guards, a centre stand, and heated grips. These additions make long-distance rides more convenient while enhancing luggage-carrying ability. The bike's weight rises to 232kg, around 14kg heavier than the regular version, but the trade-off is worthwhile. With a combined storage capacity of 106 litres, the Tour variant is a strong choice for riders who frequently travel with gear.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour is based on a sturdy tubular steel perimeter frame paired with a pressed-steel swingarm, ensuring durability and stability. Its suspension setup is handled by Showa 41mm USD separate-function cartridge forks at the front, offering adjustable compression and rebound damping, while the rear features a Showa monoshock with adjustable rebound and a remote hydraulic preload adjuster. Both ends deliver 150mm of wheel travel, making the motorcycle versatile across varied terrain. This configuration enhances rider confidence and comfort, particularly on long journeys, blending strength with adaptability for touring and everyday riding needs.

Braking performance on the Tiger Sport 800 Tour is handled by radial four-piston calipers gripping twin 310mm floating discs at the front. At the rear, a 255mm disc paired with a single-piston sliding caliper ensures balanced stopping power. Safety is further enhanced by Optimised Cornering ABS, which maintains control even when leaned into turns. The motorcycle rides on lightweight 17-inch cast aluminium wheels wrapped in Michelin Road 5 tyres, providing reliable grip in diverse conditions.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour is set to hit international markets in February 2026. However, its Indian debut remains uncertain, as even the standard Tiger Sport 800 has yet to go on sale locally, that too after more than a year of its global launch.
