Toyota Kirloskar Motor is preparing a new three-row SUV aimed at larger families, with a launch window expected around late 2026. Recent spy shots have revealed the model undergoing road tests, giving the first glimpse of Toyota's next addition to its Indian portfolio.
The test mule spotted on public roads appears to be a stretched version of the Hyryder. While the front and side profiles remain familiar, the extended roofline and longer rear overhang clearly suggest space for a third row of seats. Enlarged quarter glass panels further reinforce the impression of added cabin room. Alloy wheels similar to the five-seat Hyryder were seen on the prototype, maintaining the SUV's upright stance but with visibly more length at the back.

Though the interior has not yet been revealed, the seven-seat Hyryder is expected to include upgrades over the standard model. Likely additions could be ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and a larger infotainment system. Advanced driver assistance features such as Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera are also anticipated, along with conveniences like a power tailgate with gesture control and a cooled wireless charger. Safety equipment may include six airbags and electronic aids to match segment expectations.

Under the hood, Toyota is expected to continue with its proven 1.5-litre petrol engine, alongside a strong hybrid option that pairs the same displacement with an electric motor. Transmission choices should mirror the current Hyryder lineup, offering a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic torque converter, and an e-CVT for the hybrid variant.
