Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced its sales performance for the month of January 2026, with the total sales of 33,880 units compared to 29,371 units sold in January 2025. This includes 30,630 units sold in the domestic market while 3,250 units were exported, reflecting sustained customer demand across key models and TKM's continued commitment to delivering reliable, value-driven mobility solutions.

Also Toyota is going to launch its maiden electric vehiclw in the Indian market, called the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella. The Urban Cruiser Ebella brings a silhouette similar to the e Vitara but with Toyota styling. To begin with, it has a unique design at the front in sync with the design language of the brand sold in the international market. It gets sculpted the bonnet, making it look muscular with character lines on the side. This is complemented by the presence of aerodynamic design for the alloy wheels. All, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm. It stands at 4,285 mm in length, measures about 1,800 mm in width, and stands close to 1,640 mm tall.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella
The Urban Cruiser Ebella gets two battery pack options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The variant with the bigger battery pack is powered by a 171.6 hp electric motor, which gives it 189 Nm of torque. While the smaller 49 kWh variant gets 106 hp electric motor. With a maximum range of 543 km on a single charge, the electric SUV offers the options of 2WD and AWD drivetrains. The LFP battery supports both AC and DC charging.
