The Audi Q3 has entered its third generation in the international market and will be launched in the Indian market in mid-2026. When launched, the new iteration of the model will be the brand's entry-level SUV, competing against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1 in the country. To help the SUV hold its ground against the aforementioned rivals, the German automaker has made a ton of changes to the vehicle in terms of exterior and interior design. Here we take a look at all the details.

Starting with the exterior, the new Audi Q3 comes with a new design for the DRL and new housing for the headlights using Matrix LED technology. It has been designed to improve visibility at night while also adapting to various conditions in terms of the throw of light. All of this is complemented by the presence of a new hexagonal grille with a 2D logo of the brand. Similarly, the rear end of the vehicle gets a fresh design with OLED lighting and an illuminated logo.

Step on the inside, and the Audi Q3 welcomes you with a new instrument cluster setup consisting of an 11.9-inch screen. Along with it, the SUV also gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is angled toward the rider. The touchscreen operates on Android OS and supports Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other features onboard include ambient lighting, a cooled 15W wireless charger, USB-C ports, a 12-speaker system from SONOS, ADAS, and more.

The latest generation Audi Q3 is set to debut in India, featuring a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 204 bhp, coupled with a 7-speed DCT that distributes power to all four wheels through Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The manufacturer boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.1 seconds.

In addition to the mentioned option, the new Q3 offers a variety of engines. It includes a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 148 bhp and 250 Nm, which also features cylinder deactivation technology and mild-hybrid capabilities for improved fuel efficiency. There's also a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. Furthermore, a 2.0-litre diesel engine is available, producing 148 bhp and 360 Nm.

However, the standout feature of the Q3's powertrain options is the plug-in hybrid setup. This combines a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with an electric motor. The petrol engine generates 174 bhp and 250 Nm, while the electric motor contributes 114 bhp and 330 Nm. Together, the powertrain achieves a total output of 268 bhp and 400 Nm. It also features a 25.7 kWh battery pack that provides an electric-only range of up to 119 km.
