Tata Motors India is gearing up for the grand launch of its highly awaited Tata Sierra SUV tomorrow, November 25, 2025. The SUV was earlier showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo, and since then, Tata has released several teasers revealing its design. The latest teaser highlights six colour options, giving fans a clear preview of what to expect. With anticipation building, here's what we know so far about the Sierra SUV.
Design
The new Tata Sierra revives the charm of the '90s icon with a retro-inspired design that proudly carries forward the legacy of its signature glasshouse look. Modern touches include a thick B-pillar and sleek glass panels enhanced by black accents. Its boxy stance, upright profile, and gloss-black detailing connect the LED headlights, DRLs, brand logo, and "Sierra" lettering. Adding to its contemporary appeal, the SUV features a skid plate and dual fog lamps integrated neatly into the bumper.
Color Options
The latest teaser confirms the six colour options of the Sierra SUV, namely Bengal Rouge, Coorg Clouds, Munnar Mist, Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Andaman Adventure.
Interior
Inside, the Tata Sierra features three dashboard displays, one for the driver and two infotainment screens that can share content seamlessly. It carries the four-spoke steering wheel from the Tata Curvv, complete with an illuminated logo and touch-sensitive controls. The cabin sports a black and grey theme, enhanced by a panoramic sunroof stretching to the C-pillar. Seating five, it offers dual-tone beige and grey upholstery, with each seat equipped with adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts for comfort and safety.
Features
While the full feature list of the Sierra SUV will be revealed post-launch, what we know till now is that the Sierra will be equipped with features like dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, powered and ventilated front seats, rear sunshades, a 360-degree camera, Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), an electronic parking brake, a panoramic sunroof and more.
Engine And Powertrain
The upcoming Tata Sierra is likely to debut with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, first showcased at Auto Expo 2023, producing 170 hp and 280 Nm with manual and automatic options. Reports also hint at a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit, along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 118 hp and 260 Nm, already seen in the Curvv and Nexon.
