Tata Motors has officially launched the Sierra SUV in India at an introductory price of Rs 11.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the 5-door SUV will open on December 16, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin from January 15, 2026. Alongside the launch, Tata has equipped the Sierra with several segment-first features, enhancing its appeal in the competitive SUV market. The model promises a blend of modern design, advanced technology, and comfort, making it a standout choice for buyers.

Triple Screen Dashboard

One of the standout highlights inside the Tata Sierra is its TheatrePro triple-screen dashboard layout. Unlike rivals that typically offer dual displays merging infotainment and instrument functions, the Sierra goes a step further with a third screen dedicated to the front passenger. The setup includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch central infotainment and navigation touchscreen, and another 12.3-inch display ahead of the co-driver seat.

Sound System

The Tata Sierra comes with a 12-speaker JBL Black audio system enhanced by Dolby Atmos spatial sound. A standout feature is the SonicShaft soundbar, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard above the climate controls. Inspired by premium home-theatre setups, it delivers a broader soundstage and a more immersive listening experience compared to traditional door or pillar-mounted speakers.

Largest Panoramic Sunroof

The Tata Sierra features the largest panoramic sunroof in the segment (1525 mm X 925 mm), branded as PanoraMax, which extends beyond the second row. Stretching from the front seats to the C‑pillar, it floods the cabin with natural light and enhances the sense of space. Inspired by the original Sierra's Alpine window design, this modern glass expanse delivers improved headroom, weather sealing, and durability compared to the 1991 model's fold‑down rear glass.

AR HUD

The Tata Sierra becomes India's first homegrown ICE vehicle to feature an AR Heads‑Up Display. This advanced system projects key driving information directly onto the windshield, offering real‑time guidance with augmented direction arrows. Built to boost safety and convenience, it delivers a confident, intuitive driving experience. The setup includes four distinct modes-Standard, Immersive, Personal, and Snow, alongside 19 smart visuals that adapt seamlessly to every journey.

Connected Car App With 75 Features

The Tata Sierra comes equipped with iRA, a connected car app offering 75 intelligent features, including five industry‑first innovations. Built to simplify journeys, it delivers smart alerts, proactive care, and thoughtful conveniences that anticipate driver needs. From safety and security to everyday utilities and even celebratory moments, iRA seamlessly connects the vehicle to your lifestyle, making every drive more intuitive, personalised, and immersive.

R19 Alloys

The Tata Sierra introduces segment-first 19-inch alloy wheels, surpassing rivals like Seltos, Creta, and Grand Vitara. While enhancing stability and presence, suspension tuning will determine comfort over uneven surfaces.

Beyond its headline features, the Tata Sierra debuts two new engines: a 1.5-litre Hyperion Turbo GDi producing 160 PS and 255 Nm, and a 1.5-litre Revotron naturally aspirated gasoline unit. Significantly, the Sierra is also the first SUV built on Tata's all-new A.R.G.O.S. architecture- All-Terrain Ready, Omni-Energy, and Geometry Scalable, designed for versatility and advanced performance.
