Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles has already released a series of teasers revealing glimpses of the upcoming Sierra SUV before its launch on November 25, 2025. Now, the brand has officially teased the Sierra EV, revealing the production version of the vehicle. This comes following the first glimpse that the automaker revealed in the form of a concept model at the Auto Expo.
Based on the teaser, the Tata Sierra EV gets a design very similar to its ICE counterpart. Specifically, the electric SUV gets an upright stance, with the front fascia consisting of an LED DRL covering the width of the bonnet. Additionally, it gets a closed-off grille sporting the brand's badge. Meanwhile, the headlights are placed lower and improve the appeal of the SUV along with a silver-finished skid plate.

The side profile of the SUV reveals its boxy appeal with a glass panel at the rear end resembling the discontinued Sierra. It also gets flush door handles and a new design for the alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the rear end remains to be fully revealed. However, we can expect to have a similar upright design and connected tail lamps.
Tata has announced that the Sierra will be available in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and all-electric variants. The Sierra EV will be launched after the ICE version. Although detailed specifications for the electric model are not yet available, it is anticipated that the EV will utilize the 55 kWh battery from the Curvv EV and the larger 65kWh battery from the Harrier EV.
