Tata Punch facelift starts reaching dealership

Tata Motors is preparing to introduce the Punch facelift in the Indian market on January 13. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has been slowly revealing information about the model. This process started with insights into the design, followed by information about the variants and color options. Now, the vehicle has begun arriving at dealerships. Photos of the forthcoming car on a dealership floor showcase the CNG-powered variant of the model.

To begin with, the brand has revised the design of the Tata Punch facelift, keeping the silhouette the same. The front end of the vehicle now gets a fresh appearance with changes in the lighting elements. All of it is complemented by the presence of piano black elements, redesigned lower grille, and skid plates. With these changes, the design language of the vehicle is in sync with the styling of the rest of the lineup, like the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari.

The rear end has also been redesigned with the presence of a new design for the taillights. While the outlines are mostly the same. The rear bumper has also been redesigned to give the sub-4m SUV a robust look.

With the new design, the Punch facelift has also gained new colour schemes. The car now gets Cyantafic Blue, Caramel Yellow, Bengal Rouge Red, Daytona Grey, Coorg Clouds Silver, and Pristine White. The unit recently seen in the showroom looks like it is Coorg Clouds (Silver).

Like the exterior, the interior of the Punch Facelift has received major revisions. These can be seen in the form of a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, toggle-type switches for the controls, a new design for the AC vents, and a new 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. With this, the car gets features like a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and more.

Talking about new additions, the Tata Punch Facelift will have a new turbo petrol engine. The specs of this unit have not been revealed yet. Along with this, the car will carry forward the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine in the outgoing version of the car. Transmission options include 5-speed MT and AMT.
