Tata Motors' electric vehicle manufacturing arm has commenced the production of the recently launched Harrier.ev in India. The electric SUV is being manufactured at the Pimpri plant in Pune. It is to be noted that the bookings for the vehicle commenced on July 2, and the brand has received over 10,000 bookings. It is to be noted that the deliveries for the Harrier.ev will begin later this month.
The first Harrier.ev produced at the Pune facility is adorned in the Nainital Nocturne paint, while other available shades include Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Additionally, a Matte Black option is offered with the Stealth Edition. The pricing for the standard Harrier EV starts at Rs 21.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), with the Stealth Edition ranging from Rs 28.24 lakh to Rs 29.74 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Harrier.ev provides two battery pack options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. Both setups come with a single motor and a rear-wheel drive configuration, though the 75 kWh battery also offers an optional dual motor and all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel-drive variants of the Harrier EV generate 238 hp and 315 Nm, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration powered by the 75 kWh battery produces a total of 313 hp and 504 Nm. Regarding the claimed range, the 65 kWh versions of the Harrier EV can travel up to 538 km on a single charge, while the 75 kWh RWD and AWD models can achieve distances of 627 km and 622 km, respectively.
The features included in the Tata Harrier.ev encompass a wireless charging capability, an air purifier, a powered tailgate, cruise control, dual-zone climate management, a sliding armrest with cooled storage, autonomous parking assistance, a summon mode, reverse assistance, multiple regeneration modes with paddle shifters, a 540-degree surround view that offers a 360-degree perspective along with an under-car view for off-road scenarios, an HD rearview mirror (IRVM), a digital key, and other enhancements. The manufacturer is also providing vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle charging functionality.
