Since its launch in November 2020, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has quietly built a strong following. The cruiser has now crossed six lakh units in global sales, a figure that reflects steady demand rather than hype. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has crossed the 6 lakh sales milestone, earning the trust of riders across the globe since its launch.

The Meteor was the first motorcycle to debut Royal Enfield's J-series engine, a platform that has since become the backbone of the brand's 350 cc range. Today, the same engine powers the Classic 350, Hunter 350, Bullet 350, and the newer Goan Classic 350. The motor itself is a 349 cc, air-oil cooled single cylinder producing 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It's not about outright performance but about smooth, usable power that suits everyday riding.

Royal Enfield has pitched the Meteor as a mid-size cruiser, and that positioning seems to have worked. Riders in India, Latin America, Europe, and the SAARC region have responded well to its mix of comfort and simplicity. The bike's relaxed ergonomics, decent suspension, and tractable engine make it approachable for new riders while still satisfying those who want a laid-back highway companion.

On the features front, the Meteor 350 blends old and new. It comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster, a Tripper navigation pod offering turn-by-turn directions, LED lighting, and a slip-and-assist clutch. Adjustable levers and premium switchgear add small but useful touches. None of these is groundbreaking, but they make the motorcycle easier to live with.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is available in four trims - Fireball, Stellar, Aurora, and Supernova - each offering different styling cues. Prices range between Rs 1.95 lakh and Rs 2.18 lakh (ex-showroom), keeping it within reach of a wide audience.

Beyond India, Royal Enfield has built a sizeable retail presence, with over 2,000 outlets domestically and more than 1,000 internationally. This network has helped the Meteor find buyers in over 60 countries, showing that the appeal of a simple, affordable cruiser isn't limited to one market.
