Ola Roadster Prices Reduced To Rs 79,999 - Cheaper Than Hero Super Splendor

The Ola Roadster electric motorcycle comes with multiple variants, with the most expensive one priced at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ola Electric has reduced the prices of its Roadster electric motorcycle as part of its Holi Mahotsav Campaign. Now, the electric motorcycle starts at Rs 79,999. With this move, the EV manufacturer has brought down the entry-point for consumers on the lookout for a commuter motorcycle. This price range includes multiple ICE models that attract consumers because of their affordability.

The Ola Roadster X comes with the options of a 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh battery packs priced at Rs 92,999 and 99,999, respectively. Meanwhile, the relatively more expensive Roadster X+ with 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh battery packs are priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The announcement aligns with the Holi festival and is part of a larger promotional effort to promote the uptake of electric motorcycles in the nation. The brand has also launched a limited-time promotional event known as Muhurat Mahotsav. During the specified 90-minute "shubh muhurat" periods over two days, consumers will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of vehicles at exclusive festive prices.

For current owners, the Ola Insiders community receives an extra benefit of Rs 5,000 during this Muhurat period. Additionally, there is a simultaneous offer on scooters that includes an 8-year extended warranty on certain S1 Pro and S1 Pro+ models during the limited campaign duration. Thus, there are promotions not only for motorcycles but across its entire range of electric vehicles.

Customers transitioning from older scooter models can avail themselves of advantages worth up to Rs 50,000 on the latest Generation S1 electric scooter range and the Roadster motorcycles. Current owners who purchase another Ola vehicle under the same registered name are eligible for benefits of up to Rs 20,000, which include cashback and software enhancements via the MoveOS platform.
