Nissan Motor India is working towards the goal of brand resurgence with an aim to launch three new products in the country in 12 months. Based on the announcement made by the automaker, the product lineup will be expanded with the addition of a B-segment MPV, a new mid-size SUV, and a C-segment seven-seater SUV in the country. This series of launches will begin in January 2026 and will be concluded with the final launch in early 2027.
Nissan has introduced its newest compact MPV, named Gravite. This news follows the reveal of the Tekton SUV, which is also included in the brand's fresh lineup of products set to launch in the country. Additionally, the manufacturer has plans for a third vehicle, a seven-seater SUV.

The Japanese carmaker intends to kick off the expansion of its product range with the launch of Gravite in the upcoming year. According to the brand's announcement, it will be available in dealerships starting in March 2026. The other models from the brand will be introduced in quick succession, spaced a few months apart. Following closely behind Gravite will be Tekton, with the seven-seater SUV debuting in 2027.
Notably, until now, Nissan has only been represented in one segment with the Magnite. With the launch of the new products, the brand plans on marking its presence in four segments. To further improve its presence and expand its consumer base, the automaker plans to expand its dealership network in the country.

While the details of the Gravite have not been revealed, it is expected to be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which will be tuned to produce 76 hp of power and 95 Nm of peak torque, the same unit found in the Renault Triber. The unit will likely be paired with either a manual transmission or an AMT.

The Tekton SUV is significant for Nissan, as it will compete in a highly competitive segment. This segment is full of several popular models, including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victa, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Tata Curvv, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. Meanwhile, the details of the seven-seater SUV are yet to be revealed.
