Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has launched the new Burgman in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the higher variant of the two-wheeler comes at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom). This iteration of the scooter brings changes in design and features. Furthermore, it will continue to be sold alongside the current Burgman Street EX. The latter will not get any changes in price.
The new Suzuki Burgman will come with dual-pod LED headlights. This design is borrowed from the bigger version of the scooter on sale in the international market. Along with it, the brand has added a new copper paint scheme to the list of colour options. It now includes Pearl Grace White, Mat Stellar Blue, Royal Bronze, Mat Black, and Pearl Mat Shadow Green. The higher variant gets dual-tone paint, consisting of various paints with Mat Luxe Copper.

Along with the changes in design, the automaker is offering an extended feature list for the model. Specifically, the manufacturer has bulked up the list with the latest features on offer. It now gets a Suzuki Easy start system, two front storage compartments, 24.6 litres of underseat storage, a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with navigation, a keyless system with remote FOB, silent start, and all LED lights.

The new Burgman rides on telescopic front suspension and swing arm type rear suspension. Braking is the responsibility of the disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Along with this, the scooter gets 12-inch alloy wheels and a 5.5-litre fuel tank.
The new Burgman Street features the proven Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine platform, derived from Access engine. The updated 124 cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine produces 8 hp of power and 10.2 Nm of torque. The brand claims it its tuned to stronger low to mid-range performance, ensuring smooth, responsive and refined riding in everyday conditions.
