MV Agusta recently took the wraps off its latest limited-edition model. The MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Ago is a not just a piece of art on two wheels. It is a glowing tribute to Giacomo Agostini, the most successful motorcycle racer is Grand Prix history, with 15 world championships and 123 GP wins, 18 Italian titles and 10 wins at Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. Only 83 units of the Superveloce 1000 Ago will be manufactured since Agostini celebrates his 83rd birthday this year, and MV Agusta celebrates its 80th anniversary.

The Superveloce 1000 Ago combines the brand's rich racing legacy with cutting-edge engineering and exquisite craftsmanship. Each of the 83 units represents one year of Agostini's life and every motorcycle has Agostini's signature and a real gold-plated number plaque on the steering head. Adding a deeply personal touch, each motorcycle features a small piece of one of Agostini's actual race trophies-embedded in the ignition key. The Superveloce 1000 Ago draws direct inspiration from Agostini's racing legacy. Its Fire Red Matt and Magnum Silver Matt paint scheme pays homage to his iconic racing livery, while yellow accents and the number 1 badge on the fairing replicate the look of his championship-winning motorcycles.

Each unit also includes a dedicated kit, which features a certificate of authenticity, exclusive motorcycle cover, an Alcantara/leather passenger seat, passenger pegs, carbon heel guards, CNC-machined adjustable brake and clutch levers and an adjustable swingarm pivot height plates. MV Agusta offers buyers the chance to receive a custom-fitted Dainese Demone GP 3X racing suit and an exclusive AGV Pista GP RR helmet, both at no additional cost. The AGV Pista GP RR helmet, the same model worn by racers in MotoGP, features a unique livery inspired by Agostini's tricolore design with modern carbon fibre detailing, exclusively available to Superveloce 1000 Ago customers.
