MG Cyberster Electric Sports Car Starts Arriving At Dealerships, Here's All You Need To Know

MG is now gearing up for the official launch of the Cyberster electric car in India. The sports car has now started reaching the MG Select dealerships.

MG Cyberster has now started arriving at the dealership. The electric sports car was first unveiled in 2023 and was later put on the podium at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Also, the MG Cyberster. However, the brand has not yet specified the launch date for the EV. The brand has already started taking bookings for the Cyberster, and it will only be sold via the MG Select dealerships.

The MG Cyberster gets two variants- a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant equipped with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that fosters 535 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Also, it has a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant with a 64 kWh battery pack producing 320 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque, well suited for everyday driving.

The Cyberster is equipped with a front double wishbone suspension along with a rear five-link independent suspension. The weight of the vehicle is evenly distributed with a 50:50 balance between the front and rear, which aids in maintaining balanced traction. Its aerodynamic Kammback design features a sharply angled rear sloping roofline, which helps to minimize body roll and enhance lateral stability for safer driving.

On the inside, the MG Cyberster gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, which has multiple controls and three wraparound digital displays. The center console of the car is equipped with an additional screen along with physical buttons for various things like the roof mechanism, drive selector, and HVAC control. Inspired by a waterfall, it features a grab handle that forms a partition between the driver and the passenger areas.

With a range of up to 580 km on a single charge, the Cyberster is claimed to be both a performance sports car and a practical long-range electric vehicle. It is expected to compete with EV models like the Kia EV 6, BYD Seal, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
