- Dreame Technology unveiled its first car, the Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition, in San Francisco
- The car features dual solid rocket boosters enabling 0-100 kmph acceleration in 0.9 seconds
- It uses a sulfide-based all-solid-state battery with over 450 Wh/kg energy density and 550 km range
The Chinese electronic brand that entered the car market, Dreame Technology, has given a glimpse of its future with its debut vehicle. Called the Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition, unveiled at the brand's Dreame Next event in San Francisco. Soon after the unveiling, the car became the epicenter of lots of buzz on the internet, and for all the right reasons. It features a dual solid rocket booster system, which can help the car accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 0.9 seconds.
Rocket Boosters
The sedan with the appearance of a sports car gives space to a custom-designed dual solid rocket booster system. It is used on the car to assist acceleration to achieve higher speeds. The brand claims that the system reacts in 150 milliseconds and produces 100 kN of thrust. It is claimed to balance safety through precision electronic control systems.
Battery Tech
The core of the car consists of a sulfide-based all-solid-state battery with energy density exceeding 450 Wh/kg. This unit is claimed to offer a better energy density and improved charging safety compared to lithium batteries. As per the manufacturer, the technology is currently being prepared for mass production with a CLTC range of over 550 km.

Advanced Features
All of this is supported by technological features such as a complete steer-by-wire setup that facilitates 14 degrees of freedom for non-linear cooperative control, with response times as quick as 1 millisecond. This system allows for maneuvering in intricate situations, including lateral parking, pivot turns, and stability control during tire blowouts.
To achieve intelligent driving, the vehicle employs a three-system framework based on VLA (Vision-Language-Action) large models. The system has undergone testing in extreme conditions, such as heavy fog, mountainous terrain, and construction sites.
