Mahindra XUV 7XO, XEV 9S Cross Over 90,000 Bookings Worth Rs 20,500 Crore

Mahindra opens bookings for XEV 9S and XUV 7XO, securing 93,689 reservations worth over Rs 20,500 crore by January 14, 2026, in record time.

Mahindra has opened bookings for its latest SUVs, the XEV 9S and XUV 7XO. Together, the two models have already received 93,689 bookings, translating to a combined value of over Rs 20,500 crore (calculated at ex-showroom price) till 2.00 pm on January 14, 2026. 

With these launches, Mahindra continues to build on its role in shaping India's SUV market. The XEV 9S and XUV 7XO expand the company's portfolio by offering customers a mix of electric, petrol, and diesel options, designed to suit varied driving needs and preferences while reinforcing Mahindra's focus on innovation and manufacturing strength. 

Talking about the details, the Mahindra XEV 9S offers three battery pack options: 59 kWh, 70 kWh, and 79 kWh. The 59 kWh battery is capable of delivering a peak power of 170 kW, the 70 kWh battery delivers 180 kW, and the 79 kWh battery promises 210 kW of peak power. 

The Mahindra XEV 9S sets a new benchmark for cabin space, offering a massive 4076 litres across the front and second rows. It also packs in a generous 527-litre boot and a best-in-class 150-litre frunk, ensuring ample room for every journey. Flexible 50:50 split seats in the third row add to its versatile, family-friendly layout.

The prices of the Mahindra XEV 9S begin from Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, the Mahindra XUV 7XO retains its familiar powertrain options, offering a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 203 hp alongside a 2.2-litre diesel unit rated at 185 hp. Both motors are available with the choice of 6-speed manual or automatic gearboxes, ensuring flexibility for different driving preferences.

Mahindra has also packed the SUV with a host of advanced features. A 540-degree camera system improves visibility, while ventilated seating is offered for the first two rows. Climate and audio controls are managed through a sleek touch-based panel, and entertainment is powered by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos support. Wireless charging further boosts convenience, and the vehicle comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, fine-tuned specifically for Indian road conditions.

The prices of the Mahindra XUV 7XO begin from Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 24.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
