Jeep India has re-launched the Wrangler Willys 1941 Special edition model in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 68.31 Lakh (ex-showroom). With this price, the limited edition model paying tribute to the military roots of the brand was first launched by the brand back in May 2025. At the time, it was sold with a price tag of Rs 73.24 lakh (ex-showroom) with the sales limited to 30 units. This time around it is more affordable and has 41 available units. With this, it is still one of the rare Wranglers in India.
Based on the top-tier Rubicon variant, the Wrangler Willys 1941 Special Edition is offered in a distinctive "41 Green" color, similar to the military green of the original Willys Jeep. Additionally, a '1941' decal is present on the hood, highlighting the year the Willys MB, the military model of the Jeep, began mass production. This special edition is also available in the standard colors offered for the Wrangler: Firecracker Red, Black, Bright White, Anvil Clear Coat, and Billet.

The Wrangler Willys '41 Special Edition includes features such as a powered side step, new interior grab handles, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dash cams, practical additions for off-road adventures. For an extra Rs 3.6 lakh, buyers could choose an accessory package with sunrider roof and a side ladder with a roof carrier to enhance the adventurous look.

The special edition Jeep Wrangler is mechanically unchanged and continues to use a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which puts out 270 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque at the peak of its performance. The unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with a 4x4 system.
The special edition models are often in demand among purists. Hence, automakers with such high-end SUVs in their lineup often bring special-edition versions. Apart from Jeep, the pattern is also followed by JLR and Mercedes-Benz for models like Range Rover and AMG G63, respectively.
