Hyundai Motors is working on the facelift of the Verna. Before any official announcement from the brand, the sedan was spied testing, revealing the interiors of the car. Based on the pictures, the updated version of the car brings a host of changes in the cabin, separating it from its predecessor. These changes include revisions, new elements, and upholstery in the cabin, upgrading the overall package. Here we take a look at these revisions.
To begin with, the Hyundai Verna facelift gets a new steering wheel, replacing the old one. This is the same unit that we have seen on other new models of the brand. It comes with four dots in the center replacing the 'H' logo. To add to it, it has dual-tone interiors. The test mule in the spy shot seems to be a sporty version with red stockings on the steering wheel and the seat covers.

The sedan seems to be carrying a dual 10.25-inch screen, which seems to be very similar to the one offered on the current model. Among these, one of the screens functions as a digital instrument cluster, while the other one handles the responsibility of being a touchscreen infotainment system.

The video also looks at the car's exterior. In particular, the sedan will likely maintain its stylish LED daytime running lights and a horizontal LED strip at the front. The front grille of the sedan may undergo minor aesthetic adjustments. The design of the front grille could differ from the current version.

In addition, the front bumper of the Verna might see some modifications. In the observed test mule, it appears that the Verna could feature silver accents on the lower section of the bumper. Similar details are noticeable on the rear bumper of the sedan as well. The design of the alloy wheels might also be updated for a more contemporary appearance.
The Hyundai Verna facelift will still be available with the same petrol engine options. There will be a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 115 hp and 143 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with a manual and an iVT transmission. The second engine option is a 1.5-liter turbo petrol unit that generates 160 hp and 257 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a manual and a DCT transmission.
