Honda Cars India has initiated the deliveries of the 2026 City hybrid variants following the launch on May 22, 2026. The black colour of the 2026 Honda City hybrid in the video is called the Crystal Black Pearl and is a new addition to the model. It comes along with other options, including Radiant Red Metallic, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.

Currently sold at a starting price of Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom), the City is one of the major sedans in its segment. It competes against models like Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Hyundai Verna in the Indian market. In the latest version it gets a fresh along with revisions on the inside.

Regarding the equipment, a 360-degree camera and ventilated front seats are new features added. Additional highlights include an 8-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charging pad, connected car technology, a sunroof, an electric parking brake, and a rear windscreen sunshade. On the performance side, the 2026 City utilizes the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 121 hp and 145 Nm of torque. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-step CVT. The 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain produces 126 hp of power and 253 Nm torque with an e-CVT. Honda claims an efficiency of 27.26 kmpl with the hybrid system.
