Hero MotoCorp's electric two-wheeler manufacturing arm has increased the number of variants of the Vida VX2 Go. The EV will now come with a 3.4 kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). Before the introduction of this variant, the model had only a 2.2 kWh battery pack, and the larger 3.4 kWh pack was available only with the VX2 Plus.

The new variant's pricing positions it between the VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, starting at Rs 85,000, and the VX2 Plus, which begins at Rs 1.10 lakh. Customers also have the option to choose the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, lowering the scooter's initial cost to Rs 60,000, along with a variable monthly battery subscription fee depending on usage.

The Vida VX2 Go variant, equipped with the 3.4 kWh battery, shares its features and components with the smaller version, but its primary upgrade is the increased range. It includes a dual removable battery system with a total capacity of 3.4 kWh, while the 2.2 kWh variant only has space for a single battery.

Using the larger battery setup, the model gets a claimed real-world range of 100 km on one charge, which is a significant improvement over the 64 km range of the smaller battery model. The power still comes from a 6 kW electric motor producing 26 Nm of torque, providing two riding modes: Eco and Ride. It maintains the same top speed of 70 kmph.
