Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the Glamour X in India, priced at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, Honda, Hero's primary competitor, introduced the CB125 Hornet just a few weeks earlier. Both motorcycles feature a 125cc engine, but they differ in design, features, and performance aspects that buyers should carefully evaluate before making a final decision.

Powering the Hero Glamour X is a 124.7 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 11.3 hp of power and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. This is the same unit that the brand has used on the Xtreme 125R.

The engine of the Honda CB125 Hornet is a 123.94 cc, 4-stroke, SI unit, paired with a 5-speed transmission. It generates a maximum power output of 11hp and a maximum torque of 11.2 Nm.

The Hero Glamour X gets a host of features that make it one of the most advanced bikes in the segment. It gets cruise control, crediting it as the first 125cc to get this feature. Also, the brand has added a few more segment-first features like ride-by-wire and three riding modes: Eco, Road, and Power. For safety, the brand has also added a rear panic brake alert to the motorcycle.
Honda CB125 Hornet
On the contrary, the Honda CB125 Hornet gets features like a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility, which supports navigation, calls & SMS alerts, and music playback with a headset, and a USB Type-C charging port. Moreover, it comes equipped with an engine stop switch & a side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor for added safety.

The Hero Glamour X has been launched at a starting price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom) for the drum variant and goes up to Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom) for the disc variant.
