In the video, Russell showcases the car's dynamic performance by drifting the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe prototype, giving a thrilling first glimpse of the upcoming supercar.
The video starts with Brad Pitt waiting at a valet stand, only to be surprised when the driver turns out to be five-time F1 race winner George Russell. Taking the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe prototype, Russell showcases its performance, delivering a thrilling preview of the precision and agility that is set to define Mercedes' upcoming four-door supercar.

The brand has also shared a few details of the coupe, stating that the upcoming Mercedes-AMG 4-Door Coupe is built on the AMG.EA performance platform that introduces a new drive setup. It uses three axial flux motors paired with a direct-cooled battery to deliver strong and consistent power. Earlier this year, the ConceptAMG GT XX demonstrated the potential of this technology with a notable run in Nardo, Italy. The production version of the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will carry forward these same drivetrain innovations.
