Ducati Centenary Livery

The 2026 MotoGP season began with the Valencia test, where riders geared up for the year ahead. In this opening act, Ducati marked its Centenary (1926-2026) by unveiling two special liveries that honor defining chapters of its illustrious racing history.

The unveiling of Ducati's historic liveries coincides with the close of a season that once again showcased the Borgo Panigale manufacturer's dominance and competitive edge. The year reaffirmed Ducati's position as a benchmark in global racing, with MotoGP at the forefront of its triumphs, complemented by a twenty-first Superbike Manufacturers' Title, strong results across national championships, and notable strides in its off-road racing program.

The tribute came alive on track through the Desmosedici GP machines of Francesco Bagnaia and Nicolo Bulega. Bagnaia's bike carried a livery inspired by the legendary 750 Imola Desmo, recalling Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari's iconic one-two finish at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles. Bulega, meanwhile, sported the colours of the 750 Supersport Desmo, the motorcycle on which Franco Uncini clinched the Italian 750cc title in 1975.

In MotoGP, Marc Marquez and Ducati dominated the season with an unmatched pace, clinching the World Championship five races early. Alex Marquez's runner-up finish with BK8 Gresini Racing secured Ducati a remarkable one-two in the standings, while Francesco Bagnaia rounded off the top five.

This marked Ducati's fifth Riders' Title, fourth consecutive, and a record sixth straight Constructors' Title, cementing its unmatched dominance in MotoGP.
