BMW has unveiled its Concept RR at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. The Concept RR hints at the brand's upcoming bike design and engineering. This concept also indicates that the upcoming BMW bikes seek most of their design inspiration from the factory racing machines.
The BMW Concept RR is based on the BMW M 1000 RR, the same machine that dominated the FIM World Superbike Championship in 2024. The Concept RR utilises an inline-four, water-cooled engine derived from the WorldSBK, and it is capable of pushing out a peak power of 230 hp. Apart from the design inspiration, it also borrows a few technical specs from the factory racing program, like- engine braking control, race-spec traction control, and more.
The Concept RR further works on reducing the weight of the motorcycle, and it features an extensive use of carbon fibre and aluminium elements. Also, the Concept RR features a few design tweaks for better performance, like instead of massive winglets seen on the BMW M 100 RR, the Concept RR gets integrated winglets. Also, the winglets are redesigned to improve the handling and manage the downforce while cornering. Airflow is expected to be enhanced as it gets deep air channels along the body fairing.

The brand further claims that it has worked extensively on giving the Concept RR a streamlined and more aerodynamic stance Also, the rear section of the concept bike has received a tweak and is claimed to provide minimal drag and maximize the top speed.

Apart from the aerodynamic tweaks, the BMW Concept RR gets a black-silver theme, a glowing RR logo at the rear, a Domino handlebar grip ,and more such elements that gives it an aggressive racing appeal overall.
During the unveiling of the Concept RR, BMW also showcased the Concept RR LTD, a limited edition riding jacket restricted to just 50 units. This jacket is produced by Meindl and is made of Nappa leather that also carries the brand badge on the neck.
