The Audi Revolut F1 is now the fourth F1 contender to reveal its livery for the 2026 season, with a special presentation scheduled in Berlin. This marks a significant milestone for the German manufacturer as it prepares for its highly anticipated debut in Formula 1, following its acquisition of the Stake F1 Team. The move signals Audi's entry into the pinnacle of motorsport, combining its engineering expertise with Sauber's established racing infrastructure.
The team's chassis and race operations will continue to be managed from Sauber's Hinwil facility in Switzerland, ensuring continuity in development and trackside performance. Meanwhile, Audi's power unit is being designed and built at Neuburg an der Donau in Germany, supported by a dedicated technology centre in Bicester, UK. This multi-location approach highlights Audi's commitment to blending German precision with international collaboration as it gears up for the new era of F1 regulations.

Earlier this month, Audi became the first team to run a 2026-spec car during a filming day at Barcelona, offering a glimpse of its readiness for the upcoming season. Following the Berlin launch, the team will return to Barcelona for Shakedown Week, where all 11 Formula 1 squads will be allowed three days of running to test their new machinery.

Audi's R26 Formula 1 car will sport a Titanium finish with exposed carbon fibre and bold Lava Red accents, first previewed on last year's concept. After years of success in other motorsport categories, Audi is finally stepping into Formula 1 by taking over Sauber's operations.
The 2026 season brings major regulation changes, including hybrid power units with an almost equal petrol-electric split, active aerodynamics, and sustainable fuel blends. Audi will enter as a full works team from the beginning, meaning the R26 will be powered by its own in-house developed engine.
On the driver front, experienced campaigner Nico Hulkenberg will continue alongside Gabriel Bortoleto for a second season together. The pairing proved effective last year, with Hulkenberg securing his maiden podium finish and Bortoleto impressing in his rookie campaign with five points-scoring results. Their continuity provides stability and a strong foundation as Audi embarks on its debut season.
