Aprilia, the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, unveiled the SR GT 400 at the 2025 EICMA event held in Milan, Italy. The Aprilia SR GT 400 is a crossover scooter, suggesting that it is taken for cruising, off-road thrills, and commuting. The latest scooter by the brand expands its lineup with a more powerful and performance-oriented scooter for the global market.

Powering the Aprilia SR GT 400 is a 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine capable of producing a peak power of 35 hp and 37.7 Nm of peak torque, paired with a CVT transmission system.  The engine meets the stringent Euro 5+ emission norms and incorporates an improved crankcase ventilation system designed to minimize vibrations and deliver smoother overall performance.

Talking about the design, the SR GT 400 crossover scooter carries an aggressive and sharp design. It showcases a triple-lamp LED headlight setup paired with a tall, adjustable windscreen for improved visibility and wind protection. It features golden-finished USD forks, hand guards for added safety, a step-up seat layout, and an upswept exhaust. Sharp body panels complete the design, giving it a bold and purposeful stance.

The Aprilia SR GT 400 comes equipped with a tech-rich package featuring a 5-inch TFT display that presents a wide array of information. It supports Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless smartphone pairing through the Aprilia MIA app. Voice commands make navigating the system's features simple and intuitive. The connectivity suite offers access to music playback and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional conveniences include keyless ignition, a front storage compartment, a USB-C charging port, and spacious underseat storage.

Although Aprilia has remained tight-lipped about the SR GT 400's India launch timeline, the scooter is anticipated to make its way to the Indian market eventually-though not in the immediate future.
