Tata Motors has revealed the interior of the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift ahead of its official launch scheduled for May 28, offering a closer look at the updates inside the popular hatchback. After previewing the exterior design earlier, the carmaker has now showcased a significantly reworked cabin that aims to enhance both visual appeal and feature offerings.
Tata Tiago Facelift: Interior Changes
Unlike typical mid-cycle updates, the Tiago facelift receives a significant interior overhaul. The most prominent change is the introduction of dual free-floating screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster. While the infotainment display appears similar to the existing unit, the addition of a fully digital instrument cluster marks a considerable upgrade over the outgoing model's dated LCD setup.

The new screen layout has led to a complete redesign of the dashboard. Tata Motors has moved away from the earlier integrated layout to a more layered and contemporary design. This is complemented by revised door pads, a newly added front centre armrest, and fresh dual-tone black and grey fabric upholstery, which together lend the cabin a more premium feel.
Another notable update is the redesigned centre console, now finished in gloss black and equipped with two wireless charging pads. However, this change comes at the cost of the storage space that was available in the previous version. Additionally, the facelifted Tiago does not feature a rear centre armrest or adjustable rear headrests.

The cabin also gets new AC vents and a floating panel for climate control functions, although the HVAC switchgear has been retained. The familiar two-spoke steering wheel continues unchanged.
It is worth noting that the revealed interior belongs to the internal combustion engine (ICE) version of the Tiago. The Tiago EV is expected to share a similar layout, with minor differences to accommodate EV-specific elements.
Tata Tiago Facelift: Exterior Changes
On the outside, the facelift brings updated bumpers, new LED headlamps and tail lamps connected by contrasting design elements, along with refreshed alloy wheels. While the changes are largely cosmetic, they contribute to a more modern overall appearance.
Tata Tiago Facelift: Engine, Rivals
Mechanically, the Tiago is expected to remain unchanged, continuing with the 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 86 hp and a CNG variant delivering 75.5 hp. Both versions will retain the option of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Prices for the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift are expected to see a slight increase over the current range of Rs 4.60 lakh to Rs 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to compete with rivals such as the Maruti Celerio, Maruti Wagon R, and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
