Porsche has revealed the interior of its highly anticipated electric SUV, which is the Cayenne Electric. Over the years, Cayenne has emerged as one of Porsche's most popular nameplates, available in petrol, diesel (discontinued in 2018), and plug-in hybrid versions. Now, the Porsche Cayenne electric is expected to join the ranks by the end of 2025. The brand has now revealed the interior images of the Cayenne electric, giving a glimpse of its futuristic approach.
The brand claims that the Cayenne Electric transforms the interior into an experiential space, combining Porsche's sporting DNA with digital innovation. On the inside, the Cayenne EV carries the new Flow Display- the largest display ever installed in a Porsche. The flow display highlights a curved, seamlessly integrated, and intuitively operable design language.
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne Electric will get a fully digital instrument cluster with 14.25-inch OLED technology, which informs about the power meter as well as information relating to navigation, driver assistance systems, and more. Additionally, the optional 14.9-inch passenger display offers entertainment, app control, and video streaming. Porsche has also confirmed that Cayenne Electric will be equipped with a head-up display featuring augmented reality, projecting navigation arrows and lane guidance with an effective display size of 87 inches.
Apart from the 'big' display ecosystem, the Porsche Cayenne Electric will also get the new mood modes orchestrate light, climate, sound, and seat functions to create different, distinctive atmospheres. It also features the largest glass roof ever equipped in a Porsche, which is a sliding panoramic roof with Variable Light Control and is enabled with two additional semi-transparent modes- 'Semi' and 'Bold', providing 40 and 60 per cent opacity, respectively. The comfort of the passengers is uncompromised with new surface heating, which warms not only the seats but also large contact areas such as armrests and sections of the door panels.
Along with the tech-heavy ecosystem, Porsche has also expanded its customisation options, offering 13 interior colour combinations, plus four interior packages and five accent packages. Customers who would prefer a leather-free interior can choose the Race-Tex interior with Pepita print textile.
With the Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, the new Porsche Digital Key, smartphones, and smartwatches can be used as car keys. Further, the AI-powered voice assistant is said to understand complex instructions and the Voice Pilot controls comfort functions such as climate, seat heating, ambient lighting, and Mood Modes with simple voice commands.
