The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S made its debut in September 2026 at the IAA Mobility Trade Show in Munich. The sports car brought advanced hybrid technology and improved driving dynamics. The changes in powertrain contributed to making the most powerful production 911 to date. Furthermore, it brought changes in design to both cabriolet and coupe body styles. Now, the car has been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 3.80 crore (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.

The latest Porsche 911 Turbo S is equipped with a newly engineered 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six high-performance T-Hybrid engine that produces a peak output of 701 hp, marking a 61-hp increase from the previous version, and generating a maximum torque of 800 Nm. It features an 8-speed DCT system that distributes power to all four wheels.

Using the power, the Porsche 911 Turbo S accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds, reaches 0 to 200 kmph in 8.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 322 kmph. Porsche has revealed that during the final development trials held in 2024, a lightly camouflaged prototype of the new 911 Turbo S completed a lap in 7:03.92 minutes, which is 14 seconds faster than the earlier model.

The new Porsche 911 Turbo S includes enhancements over its predecessor, featuring a new generation of tires that significantly improve dry handling, with rear tires sized at 325/30 ZR 21, which are 10 mm wider than those on the previous model. The specifications for the front tires remain unchanged at 255/35 ZR 20. The standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system is equipped with updated brake pads, and the rear rotors have increased in size to a diameter of 410 mm, which is a 20-mm upgrade from the rear rotors on the previous 911 Turbo S.

The 911 Turbo S coupe comes standard as a two-seater, but rear seats are available as an option at no additional cost. In contrast, the Cabriolet model is offered only in a 2+2 seat arrangement. Additionally, it is fitted with adaptive 18-way Sport Seats Plus with a memory function, featuring "Turbo S" inscribed on the headrests. The Turbo S-specific badge on the seat surfaces and door panels pays homage to the original 911 Turbo.
