For the first time, a top US diplomat has backed Justin Trudeau's allegation, saying that Indian government agents were behind the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. US Ambassador to Canada David Cohen has said in an interview to Canada's CTV News Channel, that there was "shared intelligence among Five Eyes partners" that informed Trudeau's public allegation of a "potential" link between the government of India and the murder of a Canadian citizen, Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. 'Five Eyes' network is an intelligence alliance consisting of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. It is both surveillance-based and signals intelligence; amid the ongoing diplomatic tussle between India and Canada.
