Trinamool vs Opposition Over Bengal Panchayat Poll Violence
There was fresh polling today in nearly 700 booths across 19 districts of West Bengal where voting for the panchayat elections was declared void amid allegations of tampering with ballot boxes and violence that has left 20 people dead since Friday. Even today bombs were recovered from the worst affected Murshidabad. This as Bengal governor CV Ananda Bose met with home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.
