Doesn't Matter What Few Old People Say: Abhinav Bindra on Shobhaa De
Ace shooter Abhinav Bindra hit out at Shobhaa De, who in a tweet had mocked Indian athletes at Rio, saying that the columnist came from a generation where sports wasn't given any importance. The 2008 Olympic gold medallist added that young India is aspirational and didn't need to pay heed to what a few old people had to say. Bindra came very close to giving India their first medal at the Rio Olympics after finishing fourth in the 10m air rifle final.
