Road To 2019: The Dalit Discontent

One out of every four Dalits voted for the BJP in 2014 but since then things seem to have taken a sour turn for the BJP-Dalit equation. While India's Dalit population got together in huge numbers on April 2 to protest against the dilution of the SC/ST Act, there have been voices of dissatisfaction within the BJP about its treatment of the Dalit leaders. This episode of Road to 2019 aims to assess the impact of the current Dalit outrage on the upcoming general elections.
