"I still believe that Special Task Force was working fine, but in democracy perception is important," said Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in his first detailed interview on the Vyapam scam. "In my heart I now want CBI probe," he said but clarified that, "I don't consider this a crisis" and "I am not disturbed". He said Congress leader Digvijaya Singh's allegations against his wife were baseless and that it was "below the belt" and "height of cheapness" for Digvijaya to drag his wife into the Vyapam scam.
