PM discharged from AIIMS

After spending a week in hospital following a bypass surgery, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday. He is now back home at 7 Race Course Road. He was admitted on January 24, and on January 25, he successfully underwent the beating heart bypass surgery. The 11-hour surgery was performed by a team of doctors from AIIMS and the Asian Heart Institute.
