The two-member team of the National Minority Commission had an hour-long meeting with top officials of the state government including the Chief Secretary and the DGP on Tuesday on the communal violence in Kandhamal. Earlier on Monday the Commission members Dilip Padgaonkar and Zoya Hasan visited Phulbani, the district headquarters of Kandhamal and had discussions with people from different communities.
