India Gives Forces Free Hand On Uri, MP Asks PM Modi To Call Pak A Terror State

As Prime Minister chairs two high-level meetings to craft India's response to the Uri attack, sources have told NDTV that "routine diplomatic measures are insufficient" and that "people want visible justice". Sources also say that the government has given a free hand to the military to decide its response. This on a day India confronted Pakistan High Commissioner with proof of the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in the Uri attack and demanded "that Pakistan lives up to its public commitment to refrain from supporting and sponsoring terrorism against India".
