In Assam, Government Staff Will Lose 10% Of Salary For Not Looking After Parents

The government employees in Assam who do not provide for their parents and siblings with disabilities stand to lose 10 per cent of their salary, with the state Assembly passing a bill today for their better upkeep.Under possibly the first such legislation in the country, the amount deducted from their monthly salary will be given to their parents and siblings so they could support themselves
