Reliance Industries, at the centre of the gas pricing controversy, has said that the Election Commission needs to be kept away from what it calls the politics of disinformation. This is after the Aam Aadmi Party had accused the government of breaching the model code of conduct by implementing the new gas price policy which the AAP feels unfairly benefits Reliance Industries and would result in a massive hike in costs to consumers across the country. This is how Reliance has chosen to take on the AAP.
