Sunil Gavaskar, one of the purists of the gentleman's game, was not amused with Ishant Sharma's theatrics on Day 4 of the third and final Test at Colombo's SSC on Monday. With India on the cusp of a series win in Sri Lanka after 22 years, Gavaskar told NDTV from Colombo that Ishant's bowling, especially his seam positioning, has showed great improvement but as India's leading pacer, the Delhi quickie needed to control his emotions on the pitch. Ishant was involved in heated exchanges with Sri Lankan players and his over-the-top reactions were unbecoming of a Test cricketer, said Gavaskar.
