All fights have been cancelled at the Srinagar airport for today after the tyre of an Air India flight burst while the plane was landing this afternoon. The authorities said it would take two more hours to remove the plane, which has come to rest in the middle of the airport's only runway, completely blocking it. The runway, too, has been damaged, said Senior Superintendent of Police Manzoor Dalal.
