The culture of philanthropy taking root in India?

In one of the largest charitable donations in India, Wipro chairman Azim Premji has said he would transfer 213 million shares worth Rs 8,846 crore to the Azim Premji Foundation to fund the philanthropic activities of the Foundation. Experts believe a culture of philanthropy will soon take root in India.
