Emerging Markets in Bear Grip, India Better Placed: Shankar Sharma

Shankar Sharma of First Global says that foreign investors have struggled to make money from emerging markets for the last five years. Most emerging markets according to him remain in a strong bear grip. India, he says, has fared better, but only slightly. He feels investors should buy good Indian smallcap funds, shouldn't be overly exposed to equities and must have a high fixed income component as well.
