Keki Mistry, CEO of HDFC, expects the RBI to cut rates in January, but says he is slightly disappointed at the RBI's decision not to cut CRR given that liquidity remains tight. Mr. Mistry also commented on the RBI's decision to allow HFCs to raise ECBs for low cost housing saying that more clarity was needed on the details of that policy.
