Notorious Mumbai crook killed in encounter
In Mumbai, high drama filled the city's streets when the police killed a notorious criminal in an encounter. It took the police two days of pursuit before they gunned down Jamal Khan - a little known criminal in the bylanes of Sakinaka, a western suburb of Mumbai. Two constables were injured in the process. Jamal Khan had evaded the police for over 40 hours before they finally got him.
