A day after the Prime Minister lambasted the Akhilesh Yadav government by drawing a parallel between Hindu and Muslim festivals and referring to graveyards and crematoriums to say there should be no discrimination on the basis of religion, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister hit back. He dragged in actor Amitabh Bachchan in his capacity as brand ambassador of Gujarat asking him not to do an advertisement on donkeys of Gujarat. The Prime Minister today referred to the BSP as Behenji Sampatti Party and Mayawati responded saying 'Narendra Damodardas Modi means Negative Dalit Man'. On The Buck Stops Here, we ask: has high decibels and low discourse hijacked real issues as the UP election enters a dead heat? And is any party exempt from blame?
